The Hall

of

FAME

We have been in business for 25 years + years with over 20 of those in the wrecker business. In that time you could count the times we were taken to court on one hand and the times we lost on one finger, and that was a small judgement where we were taken to court over pre-existing damage that the customer developed amnesia over.  Why so few times? Because we try our dead level best to be true to our word and underpromise and over deliver.

Now that we are in just wrecker sales, we have been working hard at trying to provide an avenue for honest up front transactions to take place. We really believe that 95% of the people in the wrecker business are good honest hard working folk that want to do the right thing.

All of you have either experienced (as I have) or heard the horror stories of used wreckers being misrepresented (to put in nicely) by individuals or companies trying to broker deals. We have not only been brokering deals, but we have been working at trying to provide a means of laying the cards on the table before, during and after the sale. We provide the advertising and an extensive condition report for the seller to complete. The equipment that is listed on the sellers condition report and the current condition of the truck is what we expect to be delivered to the buyer. We feel that if you tell the buyer it has 80% tread and you swap the tires out for "May Pops" just before delivery then you are STEALING from that buyer. If the Buyer short pays the Seller for the truck which is delivered as promised that that is STEALING from the seller. Here at Stormins we have spent the hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertisements and the overhead costs to run a wrecker sales business and the better part of a lifetime building up contacts. We make our living selling trucks and putting deals together and we desrve to be able to eat the same way you do when you make a tow.

In the 25 years I have been in business I have realized that there are very few people who take advantadge of our trust we place in them (We actually let the buyers and sellers talk before any money has changed hands) since we want the buyers to know EXACTLY what they are buying. Those that misplace that trust with the others involved in the deal are usually the type of person that go from place to place taking advantadge of people who try to treat people the way they expect to be treated.

Life is too short to get caught up in that mess, so we have developed the Hall of Shame. If the deal is introduced or brokered by us and you havent done one of the other parties right, then your name will be placed in the hall of shame with a description of what happened and a feedback rating just like Ebay.  Those that do business the right way will be put in the Hall of Fame with the feedback from the other involved parties.
