HARTSVILLE — Funeral services for Maxie David King, 55, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2005, at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Darryl J. Bogatay will officiate and Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral is in charge. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1909 W. BoBo Newsome Highway, Hartsville, SC 29550.
Mr. King died Saturday, September 10, 2005. Born in Darlington Co., SC, he was a son of Verlee Odom King Lambert and the late George Maxie King. He was owner and operator of King's Wrecker and Body Shop.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Cynthia “Cynde” Lane King of Hartsville, SC; daughter, Anna King of Hartsville, SC; mother of Hartsville, SC; sister, Janet Fish of Moncure, NC; brother, Gary Michael King of Hartsville, SC; and his faithful dog, Chip.
