B&B Wrecker finishes off 15-truck effort|

B&B Wrecker of Midland shipped off its last trucks of food and water this past weekend, wrapping up a Herculean effort of giving by people in and around Midland.


All totaled 15, 53-foot semi-trucks were shipped to the Gulf Coast area. Of those 14 were filled with food and water (the other was filled with clothes and other items). The last nine semis went out this past weekend.


According to Dale Little, Midland County emergency management coordinator, said each of the truck delivered approximately 100,000 pounds in goods.


The owners of B&B Wrecker is Bobby Hennis.


Another three trucks from ClayDesta Hurricane Donation Center also went out for a total of 18 between the two.


B&B officials have said two trailers of clothes were also went to Our Lady de Guadalupe. Those clothes will be dispersed through the Red Cross and FEMA.
